Christopher Care serves as Director of Accounting at Mid-City. In this capacity, he is responsible for the accounting and financial reporting of the company. 

Prior to joining Mid-City, Chris worked for Edgewood Management Corporation as Assistant Controller and was responsible for property accounting and financial reporting.  Chris was also responsible for overseeing the financial statement audit process. Before joining Edgewood, Chris started his career with Reznick Group, a national public accounting firm with known experience in the multifamily housing field.  As an audit manager at Reznick, he oversaw professional accounting staff assigned to large real estate clients consisting of over 125 affordable real estate property audits, including, HUD, CDA, tax credits, etc.  Chris also oversaw the preparation of various cost certifications and tax returns.

Chris is a Certified Pubic Accountant and is a member of the AICPA and MACPA.
