Michael Meers serves as the Executive Vice President of Mid-City Financial Corporation. In this capacity, he manages the financing and acquisition of properties for the company.

Michael joined Mid-City in 2009 after working for twelve years at Freddie Mac. At Freddie Mac, Michael was the Managing Director of Freddie Mac Multifamily’s Southeast Region. In this capacity, he was responsible for production activities in the Southeastern United States.  While at Freddie Mac, Michael has worked on both conventional and targeted affordable housing transactions and gained a broad exposure to the array of different housing markets within the Southeast United States.
             
In addition to his responsibilities at Mid-City, Michael is also involved in numerous mortgage banking and apartment association trade organizations.  

Michael is a native of Bethesda, Maryland, holds a B.A. from Washington and Lee University, an MBA from the University of Maryland, and is married with three daughters.
